Whether it’s Same Day Braces, or a same day start with clear aligners or custom KLOwen® braces, your transformation begins at your very first visit.
Can I get braces the same day as my consultation?
Yes! If you choose traditional braces (metal or clear), we can place your braces at your very first appointment — as long as your smile is healthy and ready.
If you choose custom KLOwen braces, your same day start means we’ll take a digital scan and submit your case for your personalized brackets to be designed and 3D printed. At your next visit, we’ll place the braces with exact precision.
With custom clear aligners (Invisalign® or Spark™), we’ll complete your same day scan so your custom aligners can be created. You’ll return on your second visit to pick them up and officially begin treatment.

How to Prepare for Same Day Braces Near You
Here’s how to prepare for your first visit:
Step 1:
Receive a cleaning from your dentist within the last 6 months.
Step 2:
Bring your insurance information and preferred payment method.
Step 3:
Book your complimentary consultation easily online — just select your preferred location in Alabaster or Gardendale, AL, and let us know you’re interested in a Same Day Start.
As long as your smile is ready, we’ll either place traditional braces that day or get your custom treatment underway with a scan.
What to Expect at Your Orthodontist Consultation
At your first visit, you’ll meet with one of our board-certified orthodontists, Dr. Angie or Dr. Chris Canales. We’ll complete a thorough exam, complimentary x-rays, and any needed digital scans or photos.
Then, we’ll review your treatment options — whether that’s KLOwen custom braces, traditional braces, or clear aligners — and help you decide what’s right for you.
If you’re starting with traditional braces, we can place them that day. If you’re choosing KLOwen or clear aligners, your same day scan gets the process started right away.
